Cali, Colombia, 2002. Jose Gonzalez, a system engineer in his middle years, discovers in his skin the signals of "litomiasisu:" a strange and mortal disease that, according to reports in the media, has arrived to the city from the Amazon jungle. Horrified with what the disease has started doing to his body, Jose tries to commit suicide. At the very moment of aiming at his mouth with a revolver, he is beaten by a violent explosion: a bomb has exploded. That night and during the following days Jose discovers a lot of "replicas" of himself, as if his burst and sick ego had multiplied itself ad infinitum in the city. All of them are equal in cruelty, beyond the reasons that justify their fights.
