Dunno - just couldn't get into this pic - and I tried. The girls kinda wigged me out. Big time. Maybe could be for you - just didn't click with me.

Wiener Takes All: A Dogumentary

This was a cute little film, and a nice diversion from the usual type of documentaries that I see at film fests. It definitely doesn't take itself too seriously (although how can you when the subject is weenie dogs?). A lot of lines were very much like "Best in Show" - but were funnier since they were unscripted. I still suspect that some of this was made up - these people can't be real! The screening I attended was packed, and the audience seemed to connect with the characters (there was an audible groan when one of the pups dies). A fun film with equal parts education and fun. Audio was a bit rough in places so I give it a 4.5, otherwise I would have given it a five.

This was a great trainwreck-type doc. Filled with flinches and painful moments, best description for me was The Office meets One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Wow. I though my family was messed up - now I feel like the poster child for normalcy.
