Seattle's True Independent Film Festival 2008

Any number of things can jolt you out Saturday morning slumber in New York. But a 7:00 a.m. ransom demand? Only New York's finest could be prepared for that. Unfortunately, Jake and Sarah are not. Especially given the fact that they met last night.

Hard partying, rookie detective Jake has had his eyes on fellow "girl-in-blue" Sarah for several months. His mentor, and their mutual boss, Peter, is only too happy to fix them up. But Sarah is more interested in a promotion than a romance. After some initial hesitations, though, she's convinced to join the guys for a drink. What follows is a wild evening and an even wilder morning in this short comedy. Once the call comes in, Jake and Sarah fight time, hangovers, and each other in attempt to save their friend and mentor.
