When young Melissa Adams gets in a car wreck, she is discovered by Clive (Nick Searcy), a mountain hermit who takes her in to care for her, not realizing she's beyond his help. In an effort to track her down, Melissa's sister Cathy (Joelle Carter) and ex-boyfriend Daric (Matt Keesler) find themselves in a small, backwoods town full of bizarre people and dark secrets. Their hunt eventually leads them to Clive's cabin, where they discover Melissa's fate and end up in a fight for their very lives.
